Billing questions

The honest fine print.

Do I need a card to start the trial?

No. The 14-day trial is the full Pro experience — Claude-composed briefs, all channels, unlimited briefs — with no card required and no nudge to upgrade until day 12. If you do nothing, the trial simply ends.

What is the real difference between Starter and Pro?

Three things: the composer (Pro briefs are written by Claude, Starter by GPT-4o-mini — Claude is noticeably better at prioritising and tone), the channels (Pro adds push notifications), and volume (Pro is unlimited, Starter is capped at two briefs a day). Goals, memory, and every integration are included on both.

How does annual billing work?

Pro Annual is £290 billed once a year — about £24 a month instead of £29, which works out to roughly 17% off, or two months free. Everything else is identical to Pro monthly.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — from Settings → Billing in two clicks, no email required. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access to past briefs.

What about refunds?

Refunds are provided where required by UK consumer law, including the statutory cooling-off period where it applies. If something has gone wrong, email hello@brieflynews.org and we will sort it out. The fine print lives in our Terms of Service.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You can export your briefs and memory before you go, and if you delete your account all personal data is erased within 30 days. Details in our Privacy Policy.

Questions we missed? Email hello@brieflynews.org — or read the Terms and Privacy Policy in full.

Fourteen mornings, on us.

If Briefly doesn't earn its place in your morning by day 14, walk away — no card, no awkward cancellation flow.
